Saskatchewan has already locked up first place in the West and could rest some of their starters. Winnipeg still has plenty at stake, as a win could help clinch a playoff berth for the Bombers. This game features a huge difference in urgency for both teams. Saskatchewan has secured the top seed in the West and can afford to rest some key players, while Winnipeg is fighting for its playoff life. The Bombers will want to strike early and exploit a possibly undermanned Riders squad.
Line movement has reflected the difference in how these teams might approach this game. The spread opened closer to Winnipeg -5.5 but has shifted to as much as 7.5 as bettors lean into Winnipeg’s motivational edge and likely resting of Saskatchewan's regulars.

The Bombers should come out sharper in this game as they will benefit from better roster continuity against a team sitting some of its starters. The Bombers should win by more than a touchdown at home in a game they need to win.
