Carson Johnson has been a key contributor, scoring 23 points in the Pioneers’ recent win over South Dakota State, and he leads Denver with a steady scoring average of 19.6 points per game. Zane Nelson has also provided strong scoring support in recent contests. Omaha’s consistency at Baxter Arena has been a strength, but Denver will try to disrupt that to get a fourth win in a row.
The Mavericks are 8-4 at home, and Tony Osburn has been an important presence, averaging 13.1 points per game so far this season. Omaha defeated St. Thomas in a 98-94 thriller on Thursday, in a game where their offense was impressive, but their defense showed plenty of cracks.

While Denver has won three straight games coming into this matchup, Omaha should be able to get the job done on their home floor in what should be a fun game to watch in Nebraska.
