- Georgetown (7-3) enters Big East play with mixed results, most recently defeating St. Peter’s 76-68 in overtime. Julius Halaifonua led the Hoyas with 22 points and nine rebounds in that win, while the team dealt with turnover and rebounding issues late in regulation that led to the Hoyas having to play an extra period against a small-conference opponent.

Final Thoughts
Both of these teams have struggled to get stops on the defensive end of the floor early in the year and they have struggled against the spread as a result. I expect that trend to continue on both sides, but someone has to cover the number here. I'll take the Golden Eagles to be that team, as they should hold serve at home to avoid a poor start to their season in Big East play.
