The Rainbow Warriors have shown they can shoot efficiently and put pressure on opposing defenses. Their top scorer, Isaac Johnson, puts up 12.9 points and 6.0 rebounds per game and can spark scoring runs when needed. Despite this, they have battled inconsistency inside and could be impacted by the absence of key playmaker Aaron Hunkin-Claytor, who has missed recent games due to injury.
UC Irvine (14-7, 7-2 Big West) has played well at home this season and will look to leverage its balanced offensive attack and deeper rotation to keep pace with Hawaii.
