- Michigan opened the season emphatically with a 121-78 win over Oakland, connecting on 54% from the field and hitting 19 three-pointers. They followed that win with an 85-84 overtime escape against Wake Forest, despite shooting just 4/25 from three. Now the Wolverines hit the road for the first time this season and will try to avoid an upset against a Big 12 opponent.
- TCU is 2-1 and has won two straight games after dropping their opener against the New Orleans Privateers. In their most recent 78-65 win over Lamar, they trailed at the half and needed a strong second half to pull away. They shot 50.9% from the field and 42.1% from three in that victory. TCU will try to look more convincing in this contest against a top 10 opponent.
- Rebounding will be a huge factor in this game and Michigan is expected to have the upper hand in that department. The Wolverines have Aday Mara patrolling the paint. Mara is averaging 12.5 rebounds per game early in the season. If his size bothers the frontcourt of TCU, Michigan could run away with things by controlling the glass.

Final Thoughts
Michigan should come away with a win in the Metroplex to improve to 3-0 and remain a top 10 team going into next week. But I'm going to take the points with TCU on their home floor. Michigan was not convincing in Detroit against Wake Forest and I think they will be in for a close contest in their first true road game of the season in this one.
