- Florida has been dominant at home this season, posting a perfect record at Exactech Arena and controlling the glass in most games. Their size and physicality has remained the best thing they have going on the court after last year's championship season. Rueben Chinyelu leads them in rebounding with 10.3 boards per game, but he has plenty of help on the glass.
- Tennessee guard Ja’Kobi Gillespie is coming off a breakout performance and remains the primary scoring option for the Volunteers. He is averaging 18.7 points and 5.7 assists per game.
