Bryan Woo takes the hill for Seattle in what is his first regular-season start of 2026. He induced 11 whiffs in his final spring training start, including 6 on his four-seam fastball alone, and finished with 52 strikes on just 73 pitches. Julio Rodriguez, Brendan Donovan, and Randy Arozarena round out a lineup that posted a .740 OPS in 2025 compared to Cleveland's .670 OPS.
Saturday's game comes down to one central question: can Cleveland's offense generate enough scoring against one of the best starters in the American League while managing the pitching uncertainty of their own? Bryan Woo is coming off back-to-back sub-3.00 ERA seasons, and his spring training velocity and whiff numbers suggest he arrives sharp. The Mariners' lineup, which posted a massive offensive advantage over Cleveland in 2025, is due to string together hits beyond solo home runs, and Woo's ability to keep the ball in the park gives Seattle an excellent chance to manufacture a multi-run lead.
