The NASCAR Cup Series heads to North Wilkesboro Speedway on Sunday, July 19, for the 2026 Window World 450, marking the first points-paying Cup race at the historic short track since 1996. After returning to the NASCAR schedule through the All-Star Race, North Wilkesboro now hosts a race with playoff implications, while the new short-track rules package should increase opportunities for passing without eliminating the importance of qualifying near the front.
Christopher Bell enters the weekend as one of the betting favorites, and there are several reasons why. Bell has been one of NASCAR’s strongest performers on short tracks over the past several seasons. Overall, Bell stands out as the most complete betting option because he combines elite speed, excellent tire conservation, and one of the strongest crews on pit road. Blaney and Hamlin remain close behind, while Larson has the talent to steal the victory if race strategy falls in his favor.
