That average margin has helped them build a first-place resume in the Eastern Conference. Detroit’s offensive balance and depth have shown through, even as several rotation players are listed on the injury report. Cade Cunningham is probable with a wrist issue and remains the centerpiece of Detroit’s offense, while Duncan Robinson and Caris LeVert are also probable. However, big men Jalen Duren and Tobias Harris are confirmed out, which could limit Detroit’s size and interior scoring.
Chicago arrives in Detroit having struggled to maintain defensive intensity, giving up some of the highest scoring totals in the league.
