Detroit arrives in New Orleans fresh off a three-game winning streak and has been one of the NBA’s best teams this season, boasting a 31-10 record. The Pistons are balanced on both ends of the floor, scoring 117.3 points per game while allowing just 110.1, ranking among the top defenses in the league. Cade Cunningham has led Detroit’s efficient attack, averaging 25.7 points and 9.8 assists per game, and he remains a focal point against New Orleans’ undermanned defense. Detroit’s roster looks healthy entering this contest, with no major injuries reported, though Caris LeVert is questionable with an illness.
The Pelicans have endured a difficult campaign at 10-35 and continue to suffer through lineup issues.
