The Warriors come into this game on the second night of a back-to-back and will try to overcome that to hand their in-state rivals a second straight loss. The Warriors arrive in Sacramento after a physically draining stretch. They have played seven games in 12 days, including a win last night over the Phoenix Suns. Veteran guard Stephen Curry has been sidelined with illness and is officially ruled out for this contest. Forward Jimmy Butler is dealing with lower back soreness and is questionable. Veteran big man Al Horford is also questionable to take part in this game. These absences place greater responsibility on younger role players and will serve as a great test for them.
The Kings (2‑5) have struggled with consistency but get a home game while enjoying a rest advantage here. They have had trouble with the Warriors historically, but are still favored to win this matchup. Injuries are also a concern for the Kings. Zach LaVine and Domantas Sabonis are questionable to compete in this game, while Keegan Murray is still out.
This is Sacramento's first home game since October 26. The Kings have played just two home games this season. Therefore, their 2-5 record could be a little misleading and could improve rapidly after some more home games.

The Kings haven't had many chances to impress on their home floor this season. They should take advantage of this chance against an undermanned Warriors team that is missing its best scoring option and could be missing several other key players.
