Both of these teams are above .500 for the season and will try to get a win in this matchup as well. The injury report is the biggest storyline going into this game. The Lakers are without some important pieces. LeBron James (sciatica), Maxi Kleber (oblique), Gabe Vincent (ankle), and Adou Thiero (knee) are out for this matchup. Deandre Ayton (back spasms) is listed as probable and the Lakers will be hoping he’s available and effective.
Miami's backcourt depth has taken a hit going into this game. Tyler Herro (ankle/foot surgery), Terry Rozier (legal), and Kaspars Jakucionis (groin) are out. Norman Powell is listed as questionable (groin). That means the Heat will lean more heavily on their frontcourt and role players, especially if their leading scorer in Powell is out.

Los Angeles has performed very well when Doncic has been healthy and able to play. That should continue in this game against the short-handed Heat.
