The Western Conference semifinals continue Wednesday night with Game 2 between the Minnesota Timberwolves and San Antonio Spurs. Minnesota enters with a 1-0 series lead after a surprising 104-102 win in Game 1, stealing home court and putting pressure on a Spurs team that was great in the regular season. Oddsmakers still make San Antonio a heavy favorite in Timberwolves vs Spurs Game 2, but the question will be whether or not the Spurs can deliver and even up this series.
Game 1 delivered a defensive battle that ended with the Minnesota Timberwolves pulling off a road win. I'll take the points with the Wolves, who won't completely fold here, and will keep this game within 2-3 possessions.
