Health could decide the outcome of this game. The Sixers list Joel Embiid as questionable due to left knee injury management, although he has played the last several games and been productive when on the court. The rest of their core appears healthy enough to compete, but things get so much harder on the Sixers when Embiid can't play and bettors should monitor his status throughout the day on Friday.
On Orlando’s side, the Magic are banged up in a big way. Franz Wagner is out with a high ankle sprain, and Jalen Suggs is ruled out with a knee contusion. Rookie Jase Richardson is questionable, but the absence of Wagner and Suggs significantly diminishes Orlando’s offensive firepower. Orlando has nonetheless been competitive this season, but losing those two contributors could give the advantage in this contest to Philadelphia.

I'm leaning slightly toward the Orlando Magic to pick up the win in this game. Just to be safe, I'll take the 2.5 points with Orlando as a home dog. Again, I urge bettors to keep an eye on the status of Embiid before placing any wagers on this game, as the line could move dramatically based on whether or not he is good to go. But for now, I'm taking the Magic at home.
