The Bruins are currently struggling. They have lost three of their last four games, with their most recent defeat coming on Wednesday against the Anaheim Ducks. Boston gave up four goals in that game and will try to tighten things up defensively in this contest. The Kings have lost two games in a row, including an overtime loss on Thursday night to the San Jose Sharks. The Kings will have to rebound on the second night of a back-to-back if they want to avoid a third straight defeat.
Boston’s goaltending has been shaky. Jeremy Swayman's GAA has dropped slightly below 3.00 for the year, but the Bruins need better from their group of goaltenders if they want to be a more serious contender in the Eastern Conference.
