Dallas is 13‑5‑4 overall and 7‑1‑3 on the road. Their last 10 games have seen them go 7‑2‑1, though the Stars have dropped two of their last three games. Edmonton is more inconsistent early in the season. They’re 10‑9‑5 overall and 5‑1‑2 at home. They have also lost two of their last three games and will try to build on a win over the Florida Panthers in their last outing.
The Stars are expected to lean on Jake Oettinger in this contest. Oettinger has a 2.72 GAA and a .902 save percentage so far this year. Stuart Skinner is likely in net for Edmonton. He’s struggled with a .885 save rate and a 3.00 GAA. The Stars have a slight edge in the goaltending department, but the Oilers have a more dangerous attack.
Dallas: Jason Robertson leads the Stars with 13 goals and 15 assists. Wyatt Johnston has also been effective, especially against Edmonton. He had five points in their last meeting. Miro Heiskanen consistently contributes for the Stars as well.
Edmonton: Connor McDavid remains the catalyst for the Oilers, with seven goals and seven assists over his last 10 games. Leon Draisaitl is another big threat, already up to 14 goals. That duo might be the most dangerous in the NHL today.

This is going to be a tight game between two teams with an extensive history against one another. I'll take the Stars to win this game as a slight underdog on the moneyline. They have more than enough firepower to keep up with the top lines of the Oilers and they have just enough of a goaltending advantage to steal this contest in Edmonton.
