Florida looks to build on its strong recent play, having won four games in a row. The Panthers enter as clear favorites against a Blues team that has had its share of struggles of late. The Panthers have looked sharp of late, riding a four-game winning streak where they have found offense in spades. On Friday night, Florida rallied from a 3-0 deficit to defeat the Carolina Hurricanes 4-3 in a shootout, with key contributions from Brad Marchand, Sam Bennett, and Sam Reinhart. Florida has won 7 of its last 8 games and has worked its way into second place in the Atlantic Division.
St. Louis is coming off a pair of one-goal game, including a 2-1 overtime win against the New York Rangers and a 1-0 shutout victory over the Winnipeg Jets. The Blues are in fifth place in the Central Division and they will try to get a win here to help their chances of moving up as the season goes on.
Florida’s netminding situation has been better, with Bobrovsky delivering reliable work and boosting his confidence with recent strong performances. He has a 2.81 GAA and that is better than the GAA for any Blues goalie. St. Louis has split time between Joel Hofer and Jordan Binnington, with but both goalies posting below-average save percentages.

The Panthers are finally rounding into form after a tough start to their season. I'm going to take Florida to get a win on home ice here, as they should grab a fifth straight win and keep the pressure on the Detroit Red Wings in the race to get to the top of the Atlantic Division.
