Vegas enters this matchup on a high after a commanding 7‑2 road victory over the San Jose Sharks in which they displayed offensive firepower in bunches. Tomas Hertl led the charge with a career‑high five‑point performance while Jack Eichel continued to be a key contributor for the Knights. Vegas holds the lead in the Pacific Division standings heading into Thursday's action. Recent form suggests Vegas is clicking at both ends of the ice, as they have won four games in a row and will try to move two points ahead of the Edmonton Oilers with a win here.
The Kings have dealt with significant personnel issues of late. I'm going to take the Vegas Golden Knights to win on the moneyline against the Los Angeles Kings on Wednesday night. The Knights are playing some fantastic offensive hockey of late and should do too much scoring for a banged-up Kings team to keep up with. Expect the visitors to get the win here as slight favorites in a game that is hopefully as exciting as the 11-goal thriller we saw between these teams the first time they met this year.
