Washington enters the weekend with strong momentum. They are off to a 5-2-0 start and are hitting the road after a four-game homestand. Their offense has been clicking while the team's defense is holding opponents to just 1.86 goals per game.

This should be a close game in Columbus on Friday night. I think that the Caps will get the win on the road here. Washington is unbeaten on the road for the year and they should keep it that way in this contest. Columbus' struggles generating offense should continue and Washington will get their third win in a row on the road to open the year.
