Chelsea and Liverpool will face off in the biggest match of the week in the Premier League on Saturday. Liverpool enters this match after their first loss of the domestic campaign last time out. The absence of creative contributors like Cole Palmer weakens their attacking flexibility and their defensive record has not looked great either. Chelsea dropped its last match at Stamford Bridge and will try desperately to turn things around here.
Liverpool have looked less than invincible of late. They suffered a defeat in the Premier League to Crystal Palace and recently lost in the Champions League as well. Their injury list is also a concern. Star goalkeeper Alisson is confirmed out, meaning Giorgi Mamardashvili is likely to start. Hugo Ekitike had to come off in the Champions League match. He may be available but his fitness is a question mark. Liverpool still carry more attacking firepower and enter this match atop the Premier League table.
