The word juice in sports betting is also referred to as vig or vigorish. Juice or vig is the amount of cut or money, the bookmaker gets on your bet. This is the bookmaker's commission from your bet. Reduced juice means that the amount of commission is lower and therefore the potential for more money in your pocket. It is the easiest way for you to get the most value for your bets. It is less risky and far more profitable for the bettor. In the simplest terms, it means more winnings for you.

There is no real difference between reduced juice and low vig. They are the same thing; just a different word being used. Vig, which is short for vigorish, is the amount of money a bookmaker gets off of your bet. Juice is the same thing. In both cases, the hold percentage of the bet you are placing is being reduced by the sportsbook to either make your bet more profitable or reduce the amount of commission you have to pay to place the bet.
Here we will provide an example of reduced juice betting. To make the explanation easy to understand, I will use low betting numbers. It is important to note that the more betting you do with reduced juice, the more you will begin to see huge savings or more potential winnings.
I will use a football example. Betting on football involves reading the betting odds such as points spreads. That is a standard market when betting on football and the typical point spread odds you will see are -110. A typical point spread market in football may consist of Team A (-3) at -110 and Team B (+3) at -110. This means you need to wager $110 to potentially win $100. A reduced juice option may have Team A (-3) at -105 and Team B (+3) at -105. This means you need to wager $105 to potentially win $100. You are risking $5 less to win the same $100. Again, for one bet the savings may not seem that significant, but if you were making 10 bets this way, you would save $50 in risk. Reduced juice betting is more lucrative for big-time bettors. Someone who makes an occasional bet may not see the value in it.
The most obvious advantage of reduced juice betting is that the bettor ultimately wagers less money per bet. This reduces the risk for the bettor because he is putting up less money on the front end of the bet.
Another advantage is betting sites, or houses, put a limit on how much you can bet. Those limit amounts depend on the market being wagered on, along with other factors. The limits on reduced juice betting are often higher. The reason the limits are higher is because the betting house, or bookmaker, understands that to make up for the reduction in commission, they must encourage people to make bigger bets. A bettor can only bet as much as the limit that is in place.
Typically, when there is reduced juice betting, there are no bonuses. Often, an online gambling site offers bonuses. These bonuses are typically in the form of bonus bets. When you bet -110, you are wagering $110 to win $100. Often sites that offer reduced juice betting will not offer you bonus bets at the same time, though that can vary based on the sportsbook.
