Missouri has compiled an 11-3 overall record this season and comes off a 76-74 SEC-opening win over Florida. That game was the product of a standout showing from Anthony Robinson II with 19 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists. The Tigers are shooting a strong percentage from the floor and have seen some reinforcements return from injury, helping them perform on the offensive end. But they have only played two road games this season and that could lead to some issues as they head to the legendary Rupp Arena in Lexington.
Kentucky’s 9-5 record is well below their usual standard at this time of year. They most recently dropped an 89-74 decision to Alabama to open SEC play. Guard Otega Oweh led the Wildcats with 22 points, but the rest of the Wildcats didn't do nearly enough on offense to keep up with Alabama in that game. The Wildcats will aim to fix the defensive lapses that allowed Alabama to dominate that contest. Kentucky enters the game healthy and on their home floor, where they are 8-1 so far this season.

Kentucky should rebound from a loss in their first SEC game by beating up on the Missouri Tigers in this game. Missouri has not proven much of anything on the road yet this year and I don't expect them to change that at one of the most iconic venues in college basketball. Look for the Wildcats to win by double-digits and to cover the spread to get into the win column for the first time this year in SEC competition.
