St. John’s arrives in Washington with an 8–4 overall record and 1–0 in Big East play, seeking to build on a notable road win streak over Georgetown that dates back multiple seasons. This season, the Red Storm have excelled in transition scoring, ranking near the top of Division I in fastbreak points and thriving at the free-throw line. They are leading the Big East in free throw attempts and makes. Captain Zuby Ejiofor is a key contributor with averages around 14 points and 7 rebounds, while guards Ian Jackson and Dillon Mitchell are expected to be available after dealing with illness.
Georgetown is 9–4 with a 1–1 Big East record and they have a 7–1 record at home. I'm going to take the points with the Hoyas at home, as the Red Storm could struggle for a bit in their first true road game of the 2025-26 college basketball season.
