Vanderbilt enters this SEC contest as one of the most efficient offenses in the country, easily outpacing its opponents with an average of 93 points per game. Its ability to balance scoring with solid defensive effort has kept the Commodores undefeated, and veteran leadership has translated their potential into results. Vandy has already passed road tests against Wake Forest and South Carolina, and they will try to get another key road win here.
Texas showed a ton of toughness in its last outing by upsetting a ranked Alabama team thanks to a breakout performance from senior guard Jordan Pope, who erupted for 28 points and drilled six triples to help secure the win. That victory not only snapped a brief slide but could also serve as a springboard for the Longhorns' confidence against top competition.
The Longhorns have struggled so far this season, but they have played incredibly well on their home floor this year. Texas is 7-2 at home heading into this matchup and they will try to use their home-court advantage to score an important win against an undefeated opponent that would move them back to the .500 mark in conference play.

Vandy is shooting 50% from the field so far this year and their offensive efficiency should help them to pass another important road test early in the SEC campaign, while Texas should fall to 1-3 in SEC play after taking a loss to the undefeated Commodores.
