Appalachian State: AJ Swann comes into this game with six touchdown passes and six interceptions on the year for the Mountaineers. He has been far from perfect, but should still be good enough to help his team get a win in this contest.
Georgia State: Georgia State's TJ Finley has not been all that impressive this season. He has four touchdown passes and three interceptions on the year. He has to figure out a way to be more impactful for his team through the air if they want to pull off an upset at home this weekend.
I am happy to lay less than a field goal with App State in this contest. The Mountaineers have been better than Georgia State on both sides of the ball. That should continue in this game, with Georgia State staying winless against FBS opponents on the season. The Mountaineers should improve to 4-2 with a win over their Sun Belt foe.
