Navy arrives with a 9–2 record and one of the most dangerous rushing attacks in the nation, while Army is 6–5 mark and has a chance at redemption after last year’s loss. For Navy, senior quarterback Blake Horvath remains the engine driving their potent offense. On the season, he has thrown for 1,390 yards, 9 touchdowns, and 5 interceptions. More importantly, Horvath is a major threat on the ground. His rushing numbers this season include 1,040 yards and 14 touchdowns. That ability to attack on the ground or through the air makes him tough to stop.
Army’s offense leans heavily on the run and clock control, with Cale Hellums leading them from the quarterback position. Hellums has over 1,000 rushing yards this season and 15 touchdowns on the ground. He will need to be great on the ground for the Black Knights to have a shot here.
