Bowling Green vs Eastern Michigan Pick & Prediction - 11/8/2025

The Bowling Green Falcons will go to Ypsilanti to take on the Eastern Michigan Eagles on Saturday afternoon. Both of these teams are out of contention in the MAC championship chase and are unlikely to see bowl season. But they are playing for pride and will shoot for a win in this matchup. Here, I take a closer look at this MAC matchup and bring you my Bowling Green vs Eastern Michigan prediction.
The Falcons are in disarray offensively, ranking 126th in FBS in scoring at just 18.2 points per game. Their passing game has been especially shaky and they’ve had to cycle through four different quarterbacks this season amid injury issues. The Eagles' passing attack has been better than that of Bowling Green. But that has not translated to wins for the Eagles, thanks to issues with their defense.
Both teams enter this contest with 1-4 records in the MAC. Bowling Green has dropped three games in a row coming into this contest. They have averaged 10 points per game during that three-game losing streak. Eastern Michigan has dropped two games in a row and has allowed 36 points per game during that stretch. Something has to give when these teams meet in Michigan.
Bowling Green’s Drew Pyne has thrown for just 882 yards with 4 touchdowns and 5 interceptions through six games. Pyne was held to just 52 passing yards on 16 attempts against Buffalo in his last outing and that is certainly not going to cut it against most FBS opponents.
Eastern Michigan’s Noah Kim has been far more productive. Kim has 2,051 passing yards, 14 touchdowns, and 6 interceptions this season. The big question will be whether or not the EMU defense can make enough plays to get a win here.
Score Projection: Eastern Michigan 27 – Bowling Green 21
Win Probability: Eastern Michigan 59%, Bowling Green 41%
Both of these teams have struggled to put things together on both sides of the ball to get consistent wins in the MAC. And while someone has to win this game, I'm not willing to bet on either side to do it. I'll take the under in this game instead, as both offenses should have a hard time moving the ball on a consistent basis like they have for the bulk of this season.
