Both teams took losses to SEC opponents in their last game and will try to bounce back in this contest. Georgia is a heavy favorite as they look to avoid a second straight defeat. Here, I take a closer look at this SEC matchup and bring you my Kentucky vs Georgia prediction for Saturday.

Kentucky's SEC Struggles: The Wildcats have lost seven consecutive SEC games, including a 35-13 defeat to South Carolina in their most recent outing. Their last conference win was over a year ago and they will look to put an end to their struggles in conference play with a shocking upset in this matchup.
Can UGA Bounce Back?: Georgia lost 24-21 at home to Alabama in their last outing. That was their first loss of the season and Kirby Smart's team's margin for error in the race for the College Football Playoff has shrunk as a result of that game.
Georgia's Offensive Power: The Bulldogs have averaged 34.5 points per game this season, with quarterback Gunner Stockton leading the charge. But they were slowed down by Alabama at home last week and will need to prove that hiccup is not a sign of a larger, more disturbing trend for their offense by performing well this week.
This looks like a great spot for Georgia to bounce back from last week's loss to Alabama. The struggles of Kentucky in conference play should continue this week. Instead of laying the points with Georgia, I recommend taking the under, as Kentucky shouldn't do much scoring and the Bulldogs will be able to take their foot off the gas in the second half of this matchup.
