NC State Wolfpack vs Miami Hurricanes Prediction - 11/15/2025

The Miami Hurricanes (7‑2) and NC State Wolfpack (5‑4) will meet in an ACC matchup in college football on Saturday afternoon. Miami hosts this ACC meeting as a favorite and in desperate need of a win to keep their College Football Playoff hopes alive. NC State is a win away from bowl eligibility and will try to get the job done in this contest. Before kickoff from South Florida, you can find my NC State vs Miami prediction below.
Miami enters this game with no room for error going forward this season. The Hurricanes are ranked 15th in the country with a 7-2 record on the year. Another loss would almost certainly prevent them from reaching the College Football Playoff. Their chances of making the playoff aren't great as it is, but this is a must-win game for the Canes.
NC State comes into this game with a record of 5-4. One more win will get them to a bowl game in the next couple of months. But the Wolfpack are 1-3 on the road this season and have not won a road game since their third game of the year against a bad Wake Forest team. An upset win here would be quite the way for the Wolfpack to qualify for a bowl game.
Miami’s quarterback room is led by Georgia transfer Carson Beck. Beck has thrown for 2,194 yards, 15 touchdowns, and 9 interceptions this year. Keeping the turnovers to a minimum will be the key for Beck and Miami the rest of the season as they try to preserve their playoff hopes. NC State is led by sophomore quarterback CJ Bailey. He has thrown for 2,411 yards, 19 touchdowns, and 7 interceptions going into this matchup with Miami.
Score Projection: Miami 31 – NC State 20
Win Probability: NC State 20%, Miami 80%
Miami should get a win this weekend to keep its College Football Playoff hopes alive for now. But I'm not expecting anything to be easy with this Miami team based on what we've seen from them of late. I'm going to take the points with NC State in this matchup, as they should be able to keep this game within two touchdowns and make the Hurricanes earn it if Miami is going to stay within a game of the leaders in the ACC in the loss column.
