Florida State’s Tommy Castellanos has completed 60.9% of his passes for 1,120 yards with six touchdowns and five interceptions. He’s also contributed on the ground for the Seminoles. But Castellanos' consistency has been a concern of late for the Noles and he needs to bounce back here.
Pitt’s starter is expected to be freshman Mason Heintschel, who replaced Eli Holstein after inconsistent play from Holstein. In his first start, Heintschel went 30-of-41 for 323 yards and four touchdowns with no interceptions. He faces a much stiffer test against FSU’s athletic defenders this week and he will try to prove that last week's performance was no fluke.

I think that we are going to see a reasonably close game between these ACC teams. Pitt's offense could take a step back against a tougher opponent on the road. But I am going to take the points with Pitt in this game, as Florida State has not proven itself capable of creating separation from their opponents in recent weeks.
