Tulane comes into this game with an unbeaten record in AAC play and they will try to move a step closer to another conference title game appearance with a win here. Tulane has a 6-1 record with a perfect conference record at 3-0. Their offense is balanced with quarterback Jake Retzlaff providing a threat as both passer and runner. That has created matchup problems for defenses that have to choose whether to prioritize stopping the run or the pass. The Green Wave defense has also had success, giving up 20 or fewer points to all three AAC opponents they have faced.
The headline for UTSA this season is their home form and their running game. Robert Henry Jr. is a genuinely explosive back who has rushed for 868 yards and nine touchdowns already this season. UTSA’s offense can go for big numbers at the Alamodome, but the Roadrunners gave up 55 points to North Texas on the road in their last game and they need to be better on defense here to get an upset win.

I think that we are going to see a high-scoring game from the Alamodome on Thursday night. Both UTSA and Tulane are capable of moving the ball both on the ground and through the air. These two offenses will keep the defenses guessing throughout this matchup and we should see this game go over the total in what should be another entertaining game in the AAC.
