UConn vs Boston College Pick & Prediction - 10/18/2025

The UConn Huskies and Boston College Eagles will face off in college football action on Saturday afternoon. Boston College has had a disastrous season at 1-5 this year. But they are slight favorites at home against the Huskies in this contest. Here, I break down this matchup and give you my UConn vs Boston College prediction below.
Betting Odds | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
UConn | +1.5 | +105 | Over 57.5 |
Boston College | -1.5 | -125 | Under 57.5 |
UConn's Joe Fagnano has been a standout performer, leading the offense with impressive statistics and maintaining a clean turnover record. His ability to manage the game and make critical throws has been a key factor in the Huskies' success. Boston College's Dylan Lonergan hasn't been bad either, throwing for 1,394 yards, nine touchdowns, and three interceptions.
I am expecting this to be a very close game from Chestnut Hill. UConn has had a much better season than Boston College so far. But the Huskies have largely feasted on Group of Five opponents during their recent run of success. I am expecting UConn to have a harder time against an opponent in the ACC here, even if Boston College has been one of the worst teams in that power conference.
My best bet for this game is for Boston College to win and cover the spread at home. They will end their losing streak at home against a UConn team that is not quite as good as their record has looked.
