The Los Angeles Dodgers and Milwaukee Brewers will meet in Game 2 of the NLCS on Tuesday night. The Dodgers lead the series 1–0 after a 2–1 win in Milwaukee on Monday night. The Brewers will try to respond tonight to even this series at a game apiece before the venue changes for Game 3. The Dodgers go with Yoshinobu Yamamoto, who enters Game 2 with a 1–1 postseason record and a 2.53 ERA in his appearances. He has struck out 11 across 10.2 innings, posting a 1.22 WHIP so far in October. The Brewers will give the ball to Freddy Peralta, who has been a roller-coaster in the postseason. He is 1–1 with a 4.66 ERA and 15 strikeouts over 9.2 innings. But he had a strong regular season at 17–6 with a 2.70 ERA. He has historically fared well against the Dodgers and won both of his starts against them this season.
Freddie Freeman already delivered in Game 1 with a solo home run and Mookie Betts drew a bases-loaded walk in the ninth to provide an insurance run. Shohei Ohtani will try to break out of his recent slump, as he is batting just .138 in the postseason. Jackson Chourio and William Contreras are always dangerous threats for Milwaukee and the Brewers’ bullpen will need to deliver after leaking that late run that decided things in Game 1.
Milwaukee swept the Dodgers 6–0 in the regular season, outscoring them decisively. That should give the Brewers confidence despite their Game 1 loss. The Dodgers overcame their struggles against Milwaukee in the postseason by winning Game 2. Los Angeles is 3-0 on the road in this postseason and will try to stay perfect away from Dodger Stadium here.

I am expecting another low-scoring game between the Dodgers and Brewers in Game 2 of this series. The Dodgers could very well win on the road once again in this game. But instead of taking either side to come out on top in this contest, I'll take the under at 7.5 runs. Both Peralta and Yamamoto are dominant when they are at their best and we should see close to their best in this huge postseason spot.
