The Nashville Predators will visit the Toronto Maple Leafs on Tuesday night. Nashville is off to a surprisingly strong start to their season. They will try to stay hot against a Maple Leafs team that has lost two games in a row. Goaltending will be a determining factor in this game. Nashville’s starter has been Juuse Saros but this could be his first game being held out of action this season given that Nashville played on Monday night. Toronto’s net will also be a question mark in this game, as Anthony Stolarz played last night and the Leafs could opt to rest him for the first time this year.
Nashville comes in with momentum, not losing in regulation in their first three games. Toronto has dropped two games in a row coming into thsi contest.

Toronto comes in as the favorite and for good reason. They are on home ice, have top-end offensive weapons, and goaltending that can bail them out when things stall out offensively. Nashville has played well early in the season. But the Leafs should be able to end their two-game losing streak on home ice. I'll go with Toronto to win and cover the puckline, as they will hand Nashville their first regulation loss of the 2025-26 season.
