Blake Snell enters this contest with a 5–4 record and a 2.35 ERA in the regular season. His first start of the postseason was encouraging, as he gave up two runs over seven innings of work against the Cincinnati Reds. He’s shown the ability to suppress big offenses and that ability will be put to the test against the dangerous lineup of the Phillies.
Jesús Luzardo posted a 15–7 record with a 3.92 ERA and 216 strikeouts in the regular season. This will be his first appearance of the 2025 postseason after the Phillies secured a bye through the Wild Card round.
