Philadelphia Phillies vs Los Angeles Dodgers Game 4 Prediction - 10/9/2025

The Los Angeles Dodgers and Philadelphia Phillies will meet in Game 4 of their National League Division series on Thursday. Los Angeles holds a 2–1 series edge and is at home with a chance to close things out. But the road team has won the first three games of this series and the Phillies will try to force a deciding Game 5 by grabbing another road win here. Before the first pitch is thrown at Dodger Stadium, continue reading for my Phillies vs Dodgers Game 4 prediction.
The Phillies will hand the ball to left-hander Cristopher Sánchez, who posted a 13–5 regular season record with a strong 2.50 ERA. In his last start in this series, he struck out eight batters over 5.2 innings, allowing two earned runs. The Dodgers will go with Tyler Glasnow, making his first postseason start after an earlier relief appearance in the series. Glasnow had a 3.19 ERA in the regular season and brings excellent velocity and swing-and-miss stuff.
Player | Prop |
|---|---|
Kyle Schwarber | Over 1.5 Total Bases |
Teoscar Hernández | Over 0.5 RBI |
Shohei Ohtani | Over 0.5 Home Runs |
Score Projection: Dodgers 5 – Phillies 4
Win Probability: Dodgers 55%, Phillies 45%
This is going to be the game where Shohei Ohtani has his breakout performance for the Dodgers in the postseason. Ohtani has struggled in the playoffs so far, but he is always just a swing away from changing that. I expect him to go deep in this game and for the Dodgers to get the first home win for either team in this series, punching their ticket back to the NLCS.
