Toronto Blue Jays vs Los Angeles Dodgers Game 4 Prediction - 10/28/2025

The Los Angeles Dodgers will host the Toronto Blue Jays in Game 4 of the 2025 World Series on Tuesday night. The Dodgers hold a 2–1 series lead heading into this game after winning an 18-inning marathon in Game 3 on a Freddie Freeman walk-off home run. Both bullpens will have to overcome that game to try and pick up a win in Game 4 in LA. Before the action begins, continue reading to get my Blue Jays vs Dodgers prediction.
Shohei Ohtani takes the mound for Los Angeles in Game 4 of the World Series. He enters with a 2-0 postseason record and a 2.25 ERA this October. Shane Bieber will get the start for the Blue Jays. He was acquired mid-season by Toronto and has been serviceable but not lights-out. His 4.38 ERA in the playoffs suggests that he will need to bring his best to the mound if the Blue Jays are going to even this series at two games apiece.
The bullpens are unsurprisingly the key players for both sides going into Blue Jays vs Dodgers Game 4. These teams played 18 innings on Monday night and both teams went through a host of relief pitchers in trying to grab the win in Game 3. The team that can put together the best bullpen performance in this contest will give themselves a great chance of winning this important contest in LA.
Player | Prop |
|---|---|
Shohei Ohtani | Over 6.5 Strikeouts |
Freddie Freeman | Over 1.5 Total Bases |
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. | Over 1.5 Total Bases |
Score Projection: Los Angeles Dodgers 6 – Toronto Blue Jays 4
Win Probability: Dodgers 64% – Blue Jays 36%
This game will be decided almost entirely by the starting pitching and how much work they leave both bullpens. Neither team is going to be even close to their best when it comes to relief pitching. That will put a ton of pressure on Bieber and Ohtani to perform in this massive matchup. Instead of trusting the bullpen on either side of this game to deliver a win for their team, I'll just take the over in this matchup, as I think we'll see a ton of late-inning scoring against fatigued relief pitching.
