The Knicks will try to get revenge at home in this contest as they attempt to get their act together under a new head coach. Chicago comes into this game at 5‑0, the best start they’ve had in years, showcasing balance on both ends of the floor. They beat New York 135‑125 behind big games from Josh Giddey (32 pts, 10 reb, 9 ast) and Nikola Vucevic (26 pts). Chicago's young core has been impressive and they will try to extend their perfect start here.
New York is 2‑3 and still adapting to new coach Mike Brown’s system. Their revamped bench has underperformed, as Brown is clearly still determining which players he wants to feature more prominently in a reserve role.
The Bulls are missing Coby White (calf) and Zach Collins (wrist) for this game, with Ayo Dosunmu questionable as well. New York is dealing with Mitchell Robinson (ankle) listed as day‑to‑day. But Robinson made his return to the floor for the Knicks earlier in the week and his presence should help the Knicks on both ends of the floor if he can play.

The Knicks should be able to get a much-needed win at home in this contest. But I do think that the Bulls will cover the spread as an underdog on the road. The Bulls are playing great team basketball right now and can beat teams in so many ways. I expect them to keep this game close, as the Knicks' rotations right now are not built well for beating teams by huge margins.
