The 76ers enter this contest with a 22-18 record, comfortably ahead of the Pacers’ 10-33 mark, and will look to assert themselves at home. Philly is just 10-11 at home so far this season, but they are facing a Pacers team that has been horrible on the road throughout the year. Indiana is 2-17 on the road this season and it would take an incredible performance for them to steal a win here.
Philadelphia’s star Tyrese Maxey is posting elite numbers this season, averaging over 30 points per game while also making plays for others. Joel Embiid and Paul George are listed as questionable due to knee load management, which could impact the team's rotations and depth. But Philly has held up surprisingly well with or without George and Embiid this season.
Indiana continues to wage an uphill battle, with Tyrese Haliburton sidelined for the season due to an Achilles injury, and other key contributors like Obi Toppin and Bennedict Mathurin also unavailable. This has put a bigger share of the offensive burden onto others and that has not gone very well for the Pacers throughout the season.
Despite the win/loss gap, the Pacers have shown flashes of life recently, winning three of their last five games. But the Pacers lost by 43 points in Detroit in their last game, with their issues on the road coming to the forefront once again.
