Miami Heat vs Brooklyn Nets Preview & Prediction - 12/18/2025

The Miami Heat will travel to Barclays Center on Thursday night to face the Brooklyn Nets in an Eastern Conference matchup in the NBA. Miami enters this game in the midst of a five-game losing streak and looking to snap their skid against a Nets team that has shown signs of life despite its poor overall record. Before these Eastern Conference teams square off on the court, you can find my Heat vs Nets prediction below.

Score Projection: Miami Heat 115 – Brooklyn Nets 110
Win Probability: Miami Heat 57%, Brooklyn Nets 43%
Miami remains the stronger team on paper, but their current form makes it hard to trust the Heat to win by any sort of margin, especially on the road. I'm going to take the points with the Nets in this matchup, as they should be able to stay competitive and continue to play some improved basketball behind another high-scoring performance from Michael Porter Jr.
