Philadelphia arrives in Tennessee amid a three-game losing streak with cracks showing on both ends of the court. Star big man Joel Embiid is questionable with an ankle injury, and Kelly Oubre Jr. is also out for the Sixers. The injury to Embiid’s ankle is the latest ailment for him and the Sixers will need to overcome that adversity once again.
Memphis has been consistently dealing with injury setbacks with a lengthy list of players out, including interior pieces like Zach Edey. Despite those losses, Memphis has hovered near .500 and will rely on their healthy stars to keep pace in a game with the Sixers that is expected to be close.
These teams are close to identical from a statistical point of view. They score and allow almost the same point totals per game, while both teams shoot 45% from the field. The team that can find some extra efficiency from the field in this game will give their team the upper hand in this inter-conference matchup.
This contest is the final home game for the Grizzlies before the head to Los Angeles for two games against the Lakers. If the Grizzlies drop this game, there is a very real chance that they lose the next two games on the road, heightening the sense of urgency for Memphis going into Tuesday night.

I'm going to take the Grizzlies to get the win as a slight underdog on their home floor and for Philadelphia to have to regroup around their banged-up star.
