Philly is in third place in the Metropolitan Division, but can't afford to get comfortable with how competitive that division has been.
Vancouver ended a two-game losing streak in their last game, defeating the Kraken 3-2 in a shootout on Monday night. That was the second game of a back-to-back for the Kraken and Vancouver took advantage of that, even if it wasn't pretty. This is the second straight night on the ice for the Canucks, who will try to overcome that to get a win here.
Goaltending could be a defining factor in this contest. Philadelphia’s Samuel Ersson should get the start in this contest. He enters this game with a sub-3.00 GAA, though not by much. On the Vancouver side, Thatcher Demko has generally been reliable with a 2.63 GAA and a .909 save percentage. The Canucks should have the upper hand in net in this contest.

I'm leaning toward the Philadelphia Flyers to get a win on the road over the Vancouver Canucks on Tuesday night. Vancouver should struggle on the second game of a back-to-back here, especially after playing to a shootout on Monday night. Expect this game to be close throughout, but for the Flyers to have just a little more in the tank down the stretch to help them get the victory.
