Phoenix arrives off a dramatic 108-105 comeback win over the Oklahoma City Thunder, punctuated by a last-second three-pointer from Devin Booker. The Suns have momentum after a dramatic comeback win over the Oklahoma City Thunder, with Booker drilling a game-winner to uplift a Phoenix squad dealing with some key absences. Grayson Allen (knee) is questionable and Jalen Green (hamstring) is listed as out for Monday’s contest, meaning Phoenix will once again rely on role players such as Dillon Brooks, Collin Gillespie, Mark Williams, and Jordan Goodwin. Goodwin who erupted for 26 points in the Thunder game and he will likely play a role in the second night of a back-to-back.
Houston’s injury situation has been tumultuous inside, with Alperen Şengün ruled out and Steven Adams listed as questionable. That said, the Rockets have maintained strong form at home with a 10-2 home record, even with key big men banged up. Kevin Durant continues to carry much of the offensive load alongside Amen Thompson, and Houston will look to exploit Phoenix’s defensive vulnerabilities.
The Western Conference standings make this contest significant, with both squads right on the border between the playoffs and the play-in tournament. Houston has a rest advantage, with the Suns playing for the second night in a row. But the winner of this game will make a huge leap in their quest to make the playoffs later in the year.

I'm expecting for the Houston Rockets to win this game by double-digits and to cover the spread as a favorite on their home floor. The Suns have a huge hill to climb in this game on the second night of a back-to-back and that should prove to be a problem against a Rockets team that is so good at home as it is.
