New York has steadied the ship with back-to-back wins, including a 54-point dismantling of Brooklyn and a road triumph in Philadelphia. Sacramento has gone through a five-game slide, and injuries to core pieces have strained an already thin rotation. Here, I take a closer look at this inter-conference matchup in the NBA and give you my Kings vs Knicks prediction on the court.

The Knicks are likely to win this game on their home floor on Tuesday night. But I'm going to take the points with Sacramento in this contest. The Kings have had a bleak season statistically, but the return of Sabonis will help them to compete on the glass and limit the Knicks' second-chance points to some degree. I'll take the Kings to stay within 10 points or so in this one.
