The Denver Broncos will take on the defending champion Philadelphia Eagles in Week 5 of the NFL season. Denver snapped a two-game losing streak in their last game and will try to get their first road win of the season in one of the toughest places to play in the NFL. Bo Nix has shown flashes of dual-threat ability for the Broncos. He has seven touchdown passes and four interceptions on the season. He will be tested by Philadelphia’s defensive speed, especially if they can still generate pressure despite injuries.
Jalen Hurts has a high floor for the Eagles. He hasn't thrown an interception yet this season and has piled up the rushing touchdowns early in the year as well. Denver has a very good defense, but the poise of Hurts is well-documented at this point.
Score Projection: Denver 20 – Philadelphia 24
Win Probability: Denver 36%, Philadelphia 64%
The Broncos have clearly struggled to generate enough offense to win on the road so far this season. Against the best, most physical team in football, I don't see that changing this week. I will lay the points with the Eagles here, as they should be able to lean on the Broncos in the trenches and improve to 5-0 on the year.
