The Detroit Lions will visit the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football in Week 6 of the NFL season. The Lions haven't lost since dropping their opener in Week 1. They will look to keep their winning streak alive against a Chiefs team that is struggling to live up to expectations thus far. Jared Goff has been methodical and efficient through five games, throwing 12 touchdown passes to just two interceptions. He’s not the most electric passer but does plenty to keep the Lions’ offense in rhythm. Kansas City’s Patrick Mahomes is still the engine of the Chiefs' offense. Even in the Jacksonville loss, he piled up 318 passing yards and a touchdown, though the interception return proved costly. He can win in multiple ways, and when things break down, he’s capable of improvising.

The Lions looked bad in their first game of the season against the Green Bay Packers. But since they lost that rivalry game on the road, they haven't been in a game decided by seven points or fewer. Detroit should continue its winning ways in this contest against a Chiefs team whose best win this season is against a Ravens team that is in the process of falling apart.
