The Las Vegas Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs will meet in Week 7 of the NFL season on Sunday afternoon. Both of these teams got much-needed wins in Week 6 and will look for a second straight win as they face their division rival here. Patrick Mahomes is off to a nice start this season. He’s thrown 11 touchdowns with just two interceptions. He’s also chipped in 4 rushing touchdowns. With a healthy WR corps including Rice, Kelce, and others, Mahomes could get even better as this season progresses.
Geno Smith has thrown more interceptions than touchdowns so far this season. He has thrown 10 picks and seven touchdowns. Against a defense known for getting pressure on the quarterback, Smith will need to avoid making bad decisions if his team wants any chance in this game.
Score Projection: Raiders 17 – Chiefs 27
Win Probability: Raiders 22%, Chiefs 78%
The return of Rashee Rice should give the Chiefs a boost on offense. That and the turnover issues for Geno Smith should give Kansas City all the edge they need to get a win in Week 7. That said, I'm taking the points with the Raiders, as they will likely find enough success running the ball to work the clock and limit the number of possessions in this game to supress the margin.
