For the Chargers, Justin Herbert has put together a solid season. He has 2,691 passing yards, 19 touchdowns, and 9 interceptions. While not perfect, his experience and arm talent give the Chargers a clear edge over the Raiders at the most important position on the field.
Geno Smith remains under center for the Raiders. He’s amassed 2,367 passing yards with 13 TDs and 13 INTs. But he’s been sacked many times this season, and offensive line instability plus missing pieces make passing more difficult. That has contributed to Smith's turnover problems, but his decision-making also needs to improve.
