A Saints victory not only extends their winning streak but would also throw another interesting wrinkle into the discussion about rookie quarterbacks in the NFL this season, as both quarterbacks in this game are in their first NFL seasons. New Orleans’ defense has shown improvement, forcing turnovers and limiting scoring opportunities, while the offense has found rhythm under Tyler Shough.
Tennessee has struggled to score consistently this season, ranking near the bottom of the league in passing. Their persistent offensive inefficiency remains a primary concern, especially after drafting a quarterback first overall in the most recent draft. The Titans are looking to build on their recent win over the Kansas City Chiefs, which knocked the defending AFC champions out of playoff contention.
Saints’ quarterback Tyler Shough has put together solid performances down the stretch, showing growth in decision-making and accuracy.
