Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs New Orleans Saints Prediction - 10/26/2025

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New Orleans Saints will meet in NFC South competition in the NFL on Sunday. The Bucs sit atop the NFC South standings going into this week and the Saints are in last place. But the Saints will try to pull off an upset on their home turf here to cast some doubt on the Bucs' chances to win the division. Before kickoff from Caesars Superdome, continue reading to get my Buccaneers vs Saints prediction.
Betting Market | Odds |
|---|---|
Spread | Bucs -4.5 |
Moneyline | Bucs -225, Saints +190 |
Total | 46.5 |
Baker Mayfield's performance against the Lions last week was underwhelming. With the loss of Mike Evans, he faces another challenging task in Week 8. Mayfield has thrown for 1,767 yards, 13 touchdowns, and two interceptions on the year.
Spencer Rattler has shown flashes of potential despite some turnover issues associated with his lack of experience. Rattler will look to capitalize on a Buccaneers defense that has been inconsistent at times on the road this year.
Score Projection: Buccaneers 27 – Saints 20
Win Probability: Buccaneers 67%, Saints 33%
Laying points with divisional favorites on the road is not always a bet that I like to place. But I don't mind the idea of taking the Bucs at a discounted price here. The Bucs are banged up at wide receiver but they are healthy at quarterback and that should be enough to help them outscore a Saints team whose only win this season came against a Giants team that gave a rookie quarterback his first career road start in that game.
